Worth looking into dividend history as they have generally paid a decent divi (especially in comparison to their peers, TRY is the only other gold miner that pays a reasonable dividend.)
I'm holding for now and looking for more dovish comments from the Fed. The recent US data shows signs of life but is far from healthy. Full speed ahead on bond buying till Xmas is my view. Bernake would look hypocritical to say otherwise. Gold getting very close to that nice little gap in the chart (just above 1300).
This gets filled and all aussie gold miners will rally hard, KCN included.
