I noticed mossmans announcement failed to mention the cost blowout, they were using other excuses. Even bringing in another excuse of using an existing well to reach the target zone. Why was that not presented in the first place?
Xstate made a correct and prudent move there that was necessary imho
Not a good look for the operator to present a project cost that blows out. (Something all to familiar??) I wonder if they will ever get a farm in again in light of this.
Imho it's comforting to know contracts are well drawn up and protect the shareholders from this type of situation.
