I like the idea but it sends the wrong signal when they have set a price at 5% less than Vwap. Surely, these guys are skilled in determining the actual value a company should have and a better move would be 10% plus that price.
As a shareholder, would you prefer someone getting them for a price cheaper than you can ever buy, or seeing your leader showing some balls and buying at a much higher price, and possibly driving your shares higher.
I like the idea but it sends the wrong signal when they have set...
