It is more likely end retailers will feel a margin compression but DDR may still take it's constant share, in fact if the cost of goods being imported rises as a result of the AUD drop perhaps this is a benefit? At least offsetting drop in demand, worth watching though.
I think the rapid drop in AUD may also benefit them as they are sitting on goods they paid for at a higher AUD and can then pass on dollar fluctuations to retailers and scoop a bigger margin?
Don't know if it works like that but here hoping.
Sell side has thinned out in last 2 days, bodes well for a pop soon.
