I don’t have a problem with executive directors and senior managers being rewarded with shares under the loan scheme, but object strongly to non executive directors such as Kate Lundy benefiting under the scheme. For the onerous task of attending a monthly board meeting, Ms Lundy now has 300,000 shares acquired under the loan scheme, at no cost to her. Her only direct stake in the Company is 5,394 shares purchased on market, out of her own funds - hardly much “skin in the game”!
