The demand over on our side of the fence is temporarily being well supplied by the EO. $5m volume on the EO over the course of a month or so is not insignificant. No doubt liquidity will resume as normal after the shortfall offer has closed. I think the historic average is around $100k per day volume historically... from memory. I think most of us feel there's usually a bit more active day trading than we'd prefer, but it does provide liquidity as you say, so there is that benefit. I wouldn't worry about it.
