Should Kairos shareholders vote in favour of a takeover? Arent we better off telling everyone to get lost instead of getting swallowed up? Shareprice went up in November to 13.5 cents, which is a threebagger from these levels. I do not see the shareholder advantage of getting a company with the goods getting bought out. The clock is ticking and the window for cheap takeovers is closing.

When Novo comes out with its bulk sample results, and other newsworthy findings like greenfield exploration, a more developed scientific precipitation theory backed up by facts, this should be enough to light a fire under the shareprices of the conglomerate stocks.

The SGS plant has been up and running for some weeks now, Novo must have processed a significant amount of bulk samples. It seems likely to me that Novo will be putting up some of its goods on the table in about three to four weeks, this way it would fit precisely with the Denver Gold Forum, which is scheduled to happen from the 23rd to the 26th of september, and to further strengthen the argument, this week Quinton Hennigh assured Novo investors that there would be news coming out in a month in an interview with Jay Taylor.

If the news is well received and the Denver presentation is a success, then large mining companies other than Kirkland Lake and Newmont will become increasingly interested in the region and will be looking to invest money. Quinton Hennigh already alluded to this in an interview after his presentation at Diggers and Dealers, where he said something to the effect of having convinced a number of prominent people in the mining world who had previously been skeptical. Competition for scarce high potential land will explode if majors like Newcrest, or Barrick, and medium sized players like Northern Star enter the scene.

Management and shareholders of the Pilbara juniors just need to do one thing when asked about the willingness to sell tenements or sell the company: tell everyone who asks to get lost. Up to now it seems like most managements have managed to stick to this line, with Arrow Minerals and Impact Minerals as the exceptions. Kairos should be no exception to this. This is why we should all vote against a takeover, should it come.

Tl;dr: Kairos shareholders are better served turning everyone down, waiting at least until Novo has had its presentation at the Denver Gold Forum and has put out its long-awaited bulk sample results.
