    In the right situation incentive bonus can be a useful tool, but slightly less so in R&D.
    Its a bit different in say a commercial business with an existing product or service, its a lot more difficult when you're waiting on science to develop into a successful product, if it does at all, and the statistics arent good there.
    And in the scenario where a ceo is paid in shares in many cases it would be impossible.
    So, it can be of interest if a director or such has incentive stock or bonuses, and as i mentioned prior if a director is the type of person that invests then when they load up it can be inciteful, but at the same time, if a person simply doesn't invest much or at all in shares then what they hold means zero in relation to the prospects of that company.
    And nor should they have to own any shares if they choose not to.
