As far as I know, Spheres were not recommended as curative - once you have non resectable liver mass the prognosis is poor. Rather, spheres extended your remaining time significantly compared to other treatment at the later stages.
So to answer your question - it will depend on how much an extra 3 months of life is worth to you, and every patient / doctor interaction will differ.
