The numbers look a bit dodgy to me
They say on the 3/7/14 they bought 2,500,000 on market, commsec only shows volumes of 587,006 on that day unless they got the rest on the Chi X market ?
Could someone with a bit more knowledge about this market tell me how the Chi x actually works in relation to the ASX. If shares are bought on the Chi x does the volume show on ordinary trade platforms like commsec etc. or is it its own market maker like the CFD markets were when first established
I have seen some weird stuff happening in relation to trade numbers and volumes on days where I have sat and watched shares trading all day. I recall buying some shares a while back and it didn't show up in the course of sales on commsec but I had the trade executed and shares in my account.
I don't think we are on an equal playing field anymore(if we ever were) but are we getting all the information that you need when trying to trade moving stocks.
Accurate trade and share numbers going through is critical info
I cant find any info on the Chi x site, will have to request some info from the ASX
