If MIN acquires 75% of the shares there is a situation where they can ask to delist NWE.
There are conditions to this which I do not believe they will meet.
If they get to 90% (not 80%) they can compulsorily acquire the remaining shares in NWE.
You get no choice in this.
These % comes from the corporation's code.
At 80%, they will need to make another takeover offer to acquire the remaining shares.
(or if there was a current takeover offer they could apply to extend it).
They would be hoping to just get over the 90% to go to compulsory acquisition of the remaining shares.
