    Yeah they are tracking similarly. But MIN price dropping just makes the deal worse, as you are 'selling' your NWE shares for less if you accept the offer.

    I think NWE was around 0.056 when the takeover bid was announced (MIN was trading at $88 at the time, so your NWE shares were valued around 0.067 - approx 20% premium over pre takeover SP if you accepted the offer).

    Today sees the NWE share value at 0.062 - so about an 11% premium over what we were trading at before the takeover bid.

    Many in here believe the future NWE share price has a lot more to offer holders than an 11% increase over the pre bid share price, so why would you take up that offer now ?

    The chances of NWE gaining, let's say 50%, on their share price is probably higher than MIN doing the same thing, which is what holders are banking on.
    (now if MIN jump to $130 next week, you may have me )

    So the 'deal' has gotten worse since the bid - yet people are still taking it up.

    I think that makes sense
