tranche 2 was 44.1M units or $8.8M ... total raising was 57.5M units for $11.5M ... MQG have a total of 15M units now.
the price at the time of announcing the CR was 19c not 27c ... one could argue that MQG got a good deal due to the prior price movements (and I kinda agree, as do the people who were buying themselves at those levels I imagine, but the nuances of this have been discussed previously) but it is perhaps not entirely right to say they got them @ 20c for an immediate 35% profit. They got them for 20c + the cost of the time risk since 10th Dec, so about 2 months. Same as anyone else who bought at around the same time ... less the value of holding the cash for that period to be more precise.
this is not new news but it is good to see the successful completion of the raising ... it was a great show of support ... I feel comfortable that the bank would not put this much money into something they did not believe would come up with the goods.
