13.38% of shares were shorted as of 29/4/2022 according to shortman. Dropped to 11.18% on 8/4/2022 but again up since then.

So most likely MQG is doing the buying & lending them to the shorters listed. If shorted shares increase by 3.07% following their latest purchase would confirm it. 13.38% + 3.07% = 16.45% possible.
It's like a coiled spring now. Had another one that was shorted 6% & it sprung x2 in a few months. 16% shorted should spring x5.3 when it eventually happens using similar metrics. They may try push it down to 25% of prior $1.60 peak = 40c before it bounces. Tech stock markets are bearish which is assisting them.
$451.73M MC / $76.1M TTM = x5.93. At x5 TTM = $380.5M or 42c SP. Many good ASX tech stocks are down 75%. That's why the shorters have been targeting BET. Big green days are possibly shorts covering. Undervalued considering triple digit YOY revenue growth but angry markets don't agree.
