Sapphire update was a little disappointing, but I agree that was icing on the cake. They have PLENTY going on without the sapphire play.
Also - if they make the decision not to expand the sapphire (which they have not decided yet one way or the other, they have arranged more time) then I trust that management would be making the right decision. We don't want them to expand sapphire for the sake of it - they have so many market options, I trust they will invest their time, money and energy based on where they see the best value.
