Well I can't give you direct quotes but since Abbott got into power the large scale renewables industry in Australia fell to pieces, almost no new projects have begun besides those from the ACT auction which used a different mechanism, in the last three years .
It would be great if these large utilities started signing ppa's but the point is they haven't and some big players on the project side have moved out of Oz and not returned - until we get bipartisan support for renewables, which will take a significant weakening of the liberal right wing nut bag - coal is good for humanity - faction , we can simply not expect projects to go ahead as upbeat as our CEO is
