If i was one of the majors i would be looking at securing the GAS resources of all the minors around like COE in order to secure market dominance into the future. The GAS price is going to remain high whilst countries make an orderly exit from fossil fuels. It would appear that GAS is seen as a growing and viable alternative and increases the demand and creates a bit shortage of the resource.
If there was a takeover I don't know who would be the interested parties ?. What about APA ? Do you think they would be an interested party.
