Many also WFH. There are savings from reduced commuting/car parking/tolls, formal clothing, coffees/lunches (although some still doing this in surburban cafes) and some other costs that are no longer there. In addition, mortgages are cheaper than ever (which is ofc driving massive growth in housing prices)
These may revert, but many office-based companies still doing 2-3 days WFH per week. That money will flow somewhere, including savings.
