Your post mirrors my sentiments.
I reluctantly folded yesterday after Datt's final release and the fact that NST will definitely gain at least 75% of the register.
I will be closely monitoring Victor's movements in the future as I strongly believe this NST takeover has been orchestrated over a considerable length of time between Bill Beamont and the EAR BODs.
For the Echo BOD's and Victor to state that they were INDEPENDANT from NST and that it was in the shareholders best interests to accept the NST offer bearing in mind they made no attempt to call for a independent valuation, beggars belief!!!
They have taken all us shareholders to the cleaners whilst they celebrate with Champagne and caviar from the sale of there free shares and options.
Oh well, at least I made a tidy profit after holding for years, so now time to look elsewhere.
