Wasko, don't count on PPT too much. I thought same thing about them in relation to RFE which ultimately went into liquidation, and PPT lost their nuts on that one (I lost one of mine too).
As far as shorters, I don't buy that they have a real advantage. If a stock performs well and there is buying support, shorters will lose out, and vice versa. Sometimes longs win, sometime shorts win. If a stock is weak, shorters will pick it apart though - its almost like Darwinian evolution in action - but not with strong stocks.
MYR is subject to shorting because of its perceived weakness. If management do actually turn it around, buying support will come in and the shorts will close and move on to something else.
