Hopefully no one, however if you could buy $1 for 80c (example only) with the prospect of that $1 appreciating in value then would you not jump at the chance if you had the money?
That's my view on Myer, however it depends on new mgmt turning this ship around. If they do return to earnings growth like DJs then how long do you think this company will either (a) remain at this P/E or (b) not be the target of a takeover.
To provide a balanced view there is also the prospect of another earnings decline announced in September and potentially a capital raising in which case the SP may decline further. That's the market for you, and my attention is not so much on what gets released in September but what FY16 looks like.
