"So on Monday,Star Entertainment puts out a disclosure on the ASX and said " well we had a few approaches but nothing binding" . Nothing much to see here". The market operator obviously didn't like that so asked Star to put out another disclosure in which Star says. " Well yes, we actually have someone from Hard Rock or someone connected to Hard Rock who approached us as part of a number of consortium's".
Fast forward another day and it turns out there's this property developer who had some links to Hard Rock in the past" Well yeah,I've been telling Star - Hard Rock is interested.We don't know where it is all going to go , but I'd like to do something and Hard Rock has my back ".
So the truth of this is a bit hard to figure out frankly, except to say that the Star is in deep trouble.There are vulture's circling who sense a bargain and they'd like to buy it.And there's all sorts of people involved.
