Description:
"Mercantile Investment Company Ltd (‘MVT’) will be removed from the Official List of ASX Limited from the close of trading, Thursday, 10 August 2023, at the request of MVT under Listing Rule 17.11, following implementation of the novation of all the rights and obligations in respect of the unsecured notes currently held by MVT (in its capacity as the issuer of the notes) to Sandon Capital Investment Limited."
As at 24.11.2023, Sandon held 44,368,020 (15.74%) shares in ASQ. Interestingly Sandon (ASX: SNC) is seen as an "activist investor", so here's hoping it will shake up ASQ. Having held the stock since 22.02.2011, I have long questioned its management and whether the directors see it as a private fiefdom. They have continually promised much and delivered nothing for shareholders like myself, with the share price reflecting that, languishing in single digits.
So Inside2020, fingers crossed "...it's going to be exciting.
