i agree Bundy - there’s an element of good returns and fees that make up Thorneys success. It becomes harder to generate the alpha as you get bigger and while Thorney aren’t as crazy good as they used to be, a fair bit of that is due to size. Thorneys early record is crazy good. i think a bit of heart can be taken that this is in his personal super fund though (just a little heart).

it’s not just Thorney on the register that should be acknowledged however. Go and google who Daniel Droga and Bluelake are. They also have a crazy track record and they own 1mil shares. DMX are also a solid small cap fund on the register. The smorgons aren’t slouches when it comes to investing either…
