Its a 50m NPAT business, KMP pay could be worse. Also worth pointing out that although a lot of his options were generous, he did have to pay something for them. That being said I voted down his package a couple of years ago. Thorney seem happy enough and they'd be the only ones that could do something.
Agree though, the buy back makes more sense to me at this time.
I think the dividend change might be as much about putting a floor under the share price. A buyback still helps the CEO's take regardless, more eps = higher dps.
