On a brighter note I did finally get a response from ASIC today.
" ASIC is aware of the activities of the above mentioned entities and we are continuing to monitor these entities."
"Accordingly, we are unable to provide further details at this stage regarding what, if any action may or may not in relation to the concerns you have raised."
etc, etc, etc.
I really hope ASIC don't throw this in the too hard basket again as clearly it can't be legal for people to buy and hold so many shares, with the specific intent of accepting a takeover bid by a known entity.
I say keep up the pressure on ASIC guys. Enough nagging will get the job done. ( works for my wife as I'm sure it does with all yours ;)
In regards to todays announcement, I thought WNI had to declare each time they recieve 1% increase to their holding?
Are you going to tell me that overnight many people handed over 1,914.519 Brockman shares?
