re: Ann: Change in substantial holding - J.P....
Wow satori that is quite a complicated post. I mean you have covered everything there. About shareholders, the company and, sheesh, a lot more.
To take your statements more or less in order....
Firstly, you reckon you know all about the motives and aims of shareholders. You lost me with....."what some here would,nt or don't appreciate is that posters like you etc etc. Excuse me, are you putting me, a SH down or just assuming you know more. Get off your horse please.
You talk of changing circumstances. You bet they have. A while back we were all hoping for a massive resource of that magic stuff DSO at the Peninsula. It has not eventuated. Luckily Hardstaff has compensated for the lack of DSO but has also incurred a massive change in circumstances affecting management plans and decisions. You write as if this is a management caused problem. It does not take you or me to tell Tony that as a result of these changing situations timelines and dollar estimates have varied.
Leadership, accountability, humility. What do you want Tony to do? Cry, cut his wrists?
I had not noticed that PLV is getting stroppy with shareholders. And who does run this company, shareholders or management. I,m sure management do listen to SH concerns but to pander openly to a minority self righteous and factually ignorant few is naive.
I would rather believe that management do not believe we shareholders are stupid despite the assertion that you say many companies do.
LOL I do not think we need Churchill here now. This is not the depths of war. Please do not excite me on that one. I have a background in that scenario. With the greatest respect, maybe a sriptwriter could help you, and no doubt me LOL again.
Krudd, Howard I,m lost and a bit tired.
satori, I,m not out to punish you or to protect the company to either great degree. But I did feel alienated by your post. You were not speaking for me in too many of your assertions.
We do appear to have a good resource, but not an easy one to manage. Relentless criticism of management leads to one thing....I would sell. But, with some risk, I,m holding and hoping.
Take care
Pat
