Yanks know what a growing dividend equity is.
Yanks know what safe divvy they get at home.
Yanks know what divvy MVF pays in AUD.
Yanks know exchange, and taxes.
Knowing all that, having done their dd, Yanks like MVF enough to jump through all the regulatory and tax hoops.
My sense is the insto's strategy (watch for MANY more US/Euro, etc. instos to do the same) is to buy the best growing dividend companies from around the world's safest jurisdictions. Therefore I think this is the overriding theme, and will guide selecting equities.
Drilling down from the macro to the micro, ie. MVF, they know its current numbers, growth plans, (nods and winks?), etc. and that has added up to a) Buy them, then, b) BUY MORE!
Holders here should feel great that their stock picking skills have been endorsed by the best thing there is: others' money buying.
