Ann: Change in substantial holding - T Goyder, page-30

As some will know, I’ve been bearish on CHN since seeing AD at the last general meeting, but I’ve been thinking about this announcement a lot lately, especially since the share price is down 68% from the April high of $8.20. (Coincidentally the same % drop from the Nov ‘21 high to the Jun’22 low)

So, TG buys 11,100,000 shares for $34,600,626 (average price of $3.12)

All the SS assumptions aside, this man seems to have an uncanny ability to buy shares in the right company at the right time.

I remember him buying into Spectrum Metals before being taken over by Ramelius, same with Orecorp, now being acquired by Silvercorp & also buys LTR shares on market before the Albemarle proposal is made public. There’s probably more examples but that’s just what came to mind.

I’m not sure how he has this ability (and probably don’t want to know) but he does know where to park his money. I was hoping for a change in management but maybe it’s time to reevaluate my position in Chalice.
