8 years ago, CBA paid $373 million for Count Financial. It had 630 advisers back then. Basically an "accounting-based dealer group".

Today the buyer paid $2.5m - $12m cash + liabilities >$200m if reported within 4 years + all liabilities thereafter.

Countplus' CEO sounds like he wants to be greedy when everyone is fearful. When this cycle turns, they'll make a lot of money. The +40% share price suggests the same.

CAF has plenty of advisers under its network + $4Bn of FUAM. We are not worth 9c. When this turns, perhaps we can be worth in the ball park figure of $373 million.
