Cyprus and everyone else, do we know what the average turn out for these scheme of arrangement takeovers? I am guessing pretty low unless there is a lot of media and shareholder activism.
My calc is that if he owns 17.52% then for him to be 25% or more of the vote he would require less than 70% of total shareholders shares to be voted AGAINST the vote.
Now I can't at hand see how many shares IRESS has but that would have to be taken out of the pool as eligible voters as well. So if they had 5% shares then there are 95% left to vote either way.
