Now that all the approvals are in and time is fast running out for any counter bid all that remains is for the vote to be counted and there ends the long running saga. Having been a holder of BOW since inception I've followed the highs and the lows and even hung on tenaciously when the SP was briefly around the $1.70 mark thinking the sky was the limit. A lot has changed since those days - we didn't quite match Pure Energy for quality acreage and the realities of firming up reserves to highly attractive levels wasn't as easy as some would suggest. Things could have turned out far worse than they have - you might have bought Dart Energy for a $1.20 plus not that long ago and now bemoaning a current 44 cent SP with little prospect of a takeover. Very few will be walking away from BOW without a tidy profit which really is what it's all about.
For those who have contributed intelligently (of which there were numerous) thanks for all your input. The BOW thread has been one of the more informed threads on HC with some outstanding research shared for the benefit of all. Thanks for all of it and enjoy the Christmas break.
