However, as a hedge fund they're professionals in the market to make serious money and they have done so and more. In my humble opinion I don't believe the small change they gain from the current conversion really fits with their billion $ gains that they garner for their customers. From the net they also appear to hold for some time shares which I assume they've demmed as having potential to increase - see Potash 1 and crocodile gold corp.
