The obvious near term game here is will Apache drill a well in WA359 or 409, or not ?
I see the recent accumulation by Albers as neutral wrt whether or not Apache will execute.
The bulk of the increase in Albers holding came from an off market trade on 04-04-2012. That trade was for 7.6 million shares at 2.8cps. Only a couple of non Albers top 20 holders have that many shares to sell. Fair to assume anyone holding that many would be aware that a decision from Apache was due soon. So why did they sell at only 2.8c ?
Maybe a distressed sale ?
Historically, Albers's buying hasn't been a good indicator of sp gains in MOG (or BAS).
