I think you can safely say the buyers are real. The orders have been there for more than 24hours straight and could have been snapped up at any moment. i thought someone would have sold down at the open given the negative Dow result overnight.

Further, JP Morgan has been merrily selling off their parcel for around 22-23.5 for some time now. That being the case, you would have to be stark raving mad to fake bid for stock at 25c.

More likely, the buyers figure eventually someone will bite given the stock's inability to get any sort of run on. And until the tranche 4 money comes through, that's likely to remain the case.
