I may not be a substantial holder but I pulled out this arvo dragging the SP down with me as I flogged off over 250,000 shares. Sorry about that but I wish you all the best.
I thought it was great that the MD came on HC and answered as many questions as he could. Absolutely brilliant. I did wish to ask him a question but I was too late.

I was always a bit sus about the investor who pulled up stumps and didn't cough up the rest of the $17mil. Then later on the company comes up with a deal where to get where we want we have to sign over 50% of the company's interest in Cockatoo.

If it had been Jap finance I would feel okay about it but not the Chinese. Dealing with them is never safe and regardless of what deal you strike, they never seem to deliver their half as per agreement.

I have 3 friends who have done business with them and they all went across to China to seal the deal. The products they eventually received were substandard and not according to the specs they had agreed upon. As one of them said to me as he brokered the deal to have plastic hi pressure fitting manufactured over there, unless you have someone monitoring them they will swindle you even if it is just a little.
He is a plastics engineer for a major company and when the fittings failed under pressure over here they investigated them and found a the plastic was not the grade specified and it contained fillers.

The other was into handbags and she was assured of their standards but when they arrived there was no comparison to what she had agreed upon. She went across again to sort it out only to find it happened again.

The same happened with the third person but with toiletetries. He wont deal with them again.

Doing business with them is frought with risk and I simply found the deal that was supposed to be.... turned out to favour the Chinese. I hope I am wrong and I hope Tony could answer this with surety. Even then I would be wary.
