Im no ore expert, I just know the broad basics.. If it makes u feel better I do believe FMS has better ore than FMG!
But in the years ahead there will be more pressure on the 58%fe as chinese authorities crack down on the high polluting steel mills there are plenty of recent articles on this topic.. FMS I guess is trying to copy FMG in being a pure volume play, 25mt/year is a hell of a lot of ore to dig, transport and ship to china.. if the spot price (62%) of IO is $100/t what will FMS earn for their ore? The greater the premium ($ per % of Fe > 62%) paid for high grade ore that will exist will also be inversely true for the discount applied to the lower grades..
