Hi All
I've had a look at the Credit Suisse change of substantial holding in detail.
Total number of share acquired on market 12,011,158 at a weighted average price of 8.36 cents
Total number of shares disposed on market 1,838,259 at a weighted average price of 8.38 cents
Net number of shares acquired 10,172,899
Number of shares borrowed 51,252,328
Number of shares returned 30,785,787
Net number of shares borrowed 20,466,541
Net shares acquired + Net shares borrowed = 30,785,787 (the increase in number of shares in the notice)
Weighted average price of shares acquired minus weighted average price of shares disposed 0.02 cents.
During the period of the notice, Suisse has bought and sold SDL shares on the same day on 18 occasions.
On 8 of these occasions they disposed of shares for more than they paid on that day (see chart below).
On 10 of these occasions they disposed of shares for less than they paid on that day (see chart below)
.
It seems to me that the trading could be aimed to help maintain a price for SDL shares of 8.37 cents.
