Actually, disregard my question. Found a post on here that explains it;
"The term "free carried" refers to a share that you have originally purchased ,for example a $1000 purchase.
If,lets say, the price doubled and you sold half your holding ,therefore,getting back your original purchase price, the remainder of shares you hold are then "free carried" as you've covered your original purchase price"
