Sure, like they were reluctant to go below 14c just a month back. "Sheer stupidity" is keeping the market in the dark about wtf is going on behind the scenes, as nobody in their right mind has any interest in buying this stock as long as there is unprecedented selling and precisely zero reason to commit funds at any level, including 7c. They obviously have a motivated reason to sell, but there is no motivating reason to buy.
The company needs to update the market and give a reason why someone would put their funds into this stock. Every announcement has been riddled with vagueness, and nobody on this thread, at all, agrees on any of the major points being discussed such as the state of finance or forestry approval.
How hard can it possibly be on the combined intellect (and salaries - as AC mentioned) to put out one document - just one document - declaring the current state of the forestry permit, the likely terms of finance (saying "it won't have changed" simply isn't enough, we need reiteration in % and $ terms, even if an estimate) and an estimated realistic time frame for these approvals to come through.
If Blackrock have a reason for selling that has nothing to do with market conditions (ie. closing a fund) then nothing will stop them from selling; no price will hold it back. Thus, the company needs to pull its finger out and give us an update on everything. That rubbish video a few weeks ago literally wasn't worth the update to the ASX.
As AC pointed out, a lot of money walking out the door and very little communication being sent in exchange.
Von is also correct IMO, in that the project is apparently of no different value, it is just the share price itself being crushed because of Blackrock, a manipulative seller (yes, I agree there is 100% manipulation taking place over the last few months) and the lack of interest from management in keeping the market informed.
The project is sound, the price should recover, but the longer this goes on the more multiples of the current price it needs to make before any of us have a hope of making bad money come good.
Anyone buying in now will likely do excessively well, once it settles I'll be throwing a fair bit more cash in for sure.
