It is an absolute circus with these guys, they (HZN) seriously need to be relieved of their duties and moved on. Put these assets into proper hands
Contrast: AUT, ROC (in last two years) - quality management: managed their balance sheet and capitalised intelligently on their assets, value realisation.
OSH: focus on asset development, align with high quality partner early, focus on the asset and deliver
AWE: not that flash, but reasonable management of an OK asset base
HZN: none of the above.
Hand over the assets. Its been OK, there was some decent positioning and clever appraisal work, and a corporate deal (Osaka), 2-3 years ago. But your balance sheet is going to destroy you, as it did before (remember Thailand). Its a different skill set required.
