Yeah, could be a dozen reasons why they sold down. How about a re-weighing of their portfolio.
Funds buy to a weighing of their portfolio - sometimes over, sometimes under, sometimes to the index. That's right I don't get hung up on who is buying and who is selling - it happens very day - part of the market. Like BHP might turnover $300m of stock a day - who is buying and selling - sure isn't retail investors doing it all. Cheers
