I am a bit confused.

If you are a long term investor with no intention of selling, who cares whether or not the shorts are winning, or if management is not coming out with lots of announcements.

I don't like the nervous feeling I am getting about this stock (or just about every other stock I own at the moment), but I am going to hold on for as long as I can. I bought them for a good reason, the reasons fundamentally haven't changed although it the upside may be further away than I hope.

I would prefer management just got on with the job of managing and weren't distracted by writing announcements to the market that are normally so carefully worded they are meaningless to the average punter.
