Marked by vertical lines is the 4/1-5/2 period of yesterday's change substantial holder notice.
Some things to note about that- consideration/sale price is to ~3 decimal points of a cent. This indicates Bot selling [small parcels] throughout the day around the VWAP, controlled distribution instead of a dump.


This style of selling maintains the share price at it's market level, eliminates volatility, illustrates they are not desperate to get out but IMO are doing Institutional Re Weighting. Yes adjusting the position Down but it does NOT indicate a Total Sell Out of their 47mil odd shares still held.

Dec 31st and around now is the End of The Financial Year for most everywhere but Australia. So international institutions have to prepare their own financial Performance figures and also,very  importantly, prepare for ReDemptions, Pay Outs.
It should be noted the long list of various funds etc listed in that Notice under the IG Invest Mgt "banner". They're not "In" for just Capital Growth only but for Income, monthly/quarterly Cash Flow.

Anyhow will the sell off continue ?
By monitoring for bot trading daily and I think the activity of Bell Potter ,for one, in the Broker Reports, one should get a "clue" BUT one has to balance this with Who are the Brokers Nett BUYING ?

Also naturally Institutional Substantial Holders Actively Invest.  Active means they Trade not just do all this FA like Warren Buffett and hold for freaking forever!!
It's called Re Weighting or Re Rating but it's TRADING too.
What's more TA is used by Active Investing Institutions too, all those young gun hotshots you see in the movies, are TAing in their screen joke-ing Market Dynamics.

BFC is on 52.5 support. danger is going below 49 [lower low] because then the Gap Fill Panic will set in [ie 43/44.5 next stop].
Apparently the FA significant Half Yearly does not issue til last week Feb so in the meantime will just have to put up with scaremongering about the Institutions know, have inside info, on the results so that's why they're selling -posts ad nauseum, I suppose.
Frankly if a Sub Holder Selling does "downramp" this under 50 ? Well the "naive" have just been "tree shaken"/downramped by their ignorance, inexperience to sell when they should buy or hold.
