Pete this whole thing is now a giant confusion to me, I actually don't know what to expect now.
The last I heard was the Simonds didn't want anyone except Roche as a partner so either SR will have to up their offer or McDonald will have to put in a counter offer. Which could see a price war
even if out of know where they accept they have no choice but to three way agree then we will see a higher buy out price as McDonald has set the bar that the company is worth more than the offer by buying up at a higher than offer price
