The way I read it they only bought a few on market (which some had already been announced as required) - they rest is because the substantial shareholder has gone at least another 1% higher - it seems by either purchasing or optioning family members stock.
I don't think it says much about the prospect of news or not but of good governance - people often wonder whether family related parties are effectively control or not - in this case it is clear there was not control over the daughters stock and now there is. That is good, clear communications IMHO.
There are many possible reasons and I can't think of a bad one yet so onwards to 5-10c I say!
Hopefully a little more orderly though - yesterday was the first risk of blow off top - ironically it seems because there was so few offers in the market. Now we have attracted some selling bunched around 4c lets hope that was the intention ie to flush out some more sellers. I hope we do a bit of work between 3-4c and then move towards a more realistic valuation (well what I think is a more realistic one anyway . . . )
