Interesting their 604 shows 1.9m purchased on 30/3/17 and 507k on 4/4/17.
Can anyone explain how they did that when Commsec shows total trades as 146k and 143k on those days. Can't access Chi-X data but doubt it had that sort of volume.
JPM were the broker and probably held the shares and crossed them to Austsuper on the dates?
It just shows how opaque the market is to rubes like us. MVF actually closed down on 30/3/17.
Full marks to AustSuper for this 604. It is the most comprehensive I have ever seen.
Every trade appears listed back to 6/12/15 including 3.1m brought and sold at $1.55 on 15/12/15 and 2m brought and sold on 19/12/17. There's actually quite a lot of these neutral trades in the list. Shows how hard they work to increase a stake without inflating the price.
Speaks volumes to the compliance and governance around Industry Super funds compared with the Big 5.
