    On this, The Australian reports..

    "Mawer Investment Management has bought a 14.12 per cent stake in APN Outdoor, fuelling suggestions that the fund could be betting a takeover bid could be afoot for the outdoor advertising company.


    Some market analysts yesterday said the move could be strategic positioning for a possible takeover, and questioned whether the fund was planning to launch a takeover bid for the company itself."
