The advertising dollar is actually flowing into outdoor advertising a lot faster than into digital.
In Q1 outdoor advertising grew by 7.9% compared to 0.4% for digital.
In march outdoor advertising grew by 17.8% and digital declined by -7.9%.
Some reports are suggested the boom in the digital advertising era is dying and it is now a golden age for outdoor advertising, as the numbers above from the standard media index suggests.
From personal experience I couldn't tell you a single ad I've seen on google or Facebook but I sure as hell can't miss the huge digital advertising around the city...
