You make it sound like it would have been some kind of an accomplishment if it closed at $1.40.
Yet $1.40 should be totally irrelevant.
Because TERP for this raising was closer to $1.59, so this is another bungled capital raising exercise, on a similar scale as the NASDAQ listing.
Why they did it so close to the notional deadline for any potential deal with MNK to be announced is beyond me. Surely they would have known that the market would immediately be jumping to all sorts of undesirable conclusions?
But Bell Potter got their dough, though.
So, yet another transfer of wealth from the shareholders of MSB to the shareholders of a financial "services" company.
That's the problem with being financially dependent on the kindness of strangers.
